We have attended quite a few different marriage events and getaways over the past 15 years and found that it is easy to learn a lot while in attendance, but easy to fall back into our old habits once we arrive home from an event or getaway. The small or more intimate events like this have changed our lives. I now believe that Application = Transformation. From my experience, the smaller events have focused more on helping me apply the truths I am learning to my life and I like feeling like a person vs. one of a herd. I loved that we had time allotted for communication and setting goals. It was very helpful to have the guided communication and Mission statement workshops. We enjoyed the time alone together and with the other couples, and we felt like family after just the first session. Loved every minute.
